The workshop on “Strategic Planning for Agriculture and Fisheries Statistics for Pacific Island Countries” is organised by the European Union supported Pacific Agriculture Policy Project (PAPP), which is implemented by the Secretariat of the Pacific Community (SPC).
Since 2012, the Global Strategy has been working closely with the World Bank Computational Tools team investing resources in the development of Survey Solutions (SuSo) Tablet Assisted Personal Interview (TAPI) software.
The course is based on the Guidelines for Linking Population and Housing Censuses with Agricultural Censuses, prepared jointly by the Global Strategy, FAO and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
